A pale cloud at night stood like a strange hill behind the roofs and treetops of Keene recently.

A ghostly dusk

I photographed the upper half of a house, dark against a pale dusk. A warm glow barely escapes from one window, and the chimney stands starkly against the sky. Pine branches on the left and oak leaves on the upper right, both in silhouette, frame the scene.
