I guess I shouldn’t have said what WordPress theme I was using so soon, since I switched again. Now I’m using Four Years as my base theme; I’ve made several changes and still have more to do (so many details!) but I’m pretty happy with how the homepage is shaping up. I still need to fix the comics navigation, though — that’s next.
